The Role
You'll own organic growth across our partners. Technical SEO, content strategy, link building — the whole picture. When a client's organic traffic grows, that's you.
SEO is often misunderstood — treated as either magic or an afterthought. You know it's neither. It's patience, precision, and knowing which rules to follow and which to break.
You'll work with content and dev teams to make sure SEO is built in from the start, not bolted on at the end. You'll spot patterns across our portfolio of clients and build playbooks that scale.
This is a part-time role (0.5 FTE) — perfect if you want focused, high-impact work without the full-time grind.
What You'll Actually Do
Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple clients — technical, on-page, off-page, content
Run technical audits and prioritize fixes — working with dev to actually get them implemented
Build content strategies for organic growth — keyword research, content planning, performance tracking
Develop link building approaches that don't feel gross — we're not buying links from spam farms
Track performance, report on results, and adjust strategy based on what's actually working
Create internal SEO playbooks — document what works so we can systematize it
Stay ahead of changes — algorithm updates, new features, emerging tactics
Who You Are
You're an SEO nerd. You actually enjoy digging into Search Console, running crawls, analyzing SERPs. This isn't just a job — it's something you find genuinely interesting.
You're technical. You understand how websites work. You can talk to developers, review code, and implement tracking. You don't need a translator.
You're strategic. You see SEO as a growth lever, not a checklist. You connect organic strategy to business outcomes.
You're patient but persistent. You know SEO takes time. You also know that time without action is just waiting. You push things forward consistently.
You can explain what you're doing. To clients who don't understand SEO. In plain language. Without jargon.
You're honest about what's possible. You don't promise page one in 30 days. You set realistic expectations and then beat them.
What You Get
Real ownership of organic growth — strategy to execution
Multiple clients = variety and learning
Teams who respect SEO — no "just sprinkle some keywords in there"
Freedom in how you approach the work — we care about results, not methodology for its own sake
Part-time flexibility — focused work, sustainable pace
A team that's actually enjoyable to work with
